About AUC Rowing

Playing like Champions

After the university moved from Tahrir Square to the New Campus in the fifth settlement in 2008, the rowing team came to a tragic halt for 5 years where no one was able to fit the rowing routine with the academics routine because of the huge distance over 40 km between the boat house and the AUC new campus. However, in 2013 a group of hungry students brought the rowing activity back to life. Since then, more students started to fall in love with the sport, and learn it for the first time. Despite this fact, we were able to compete fiercely in the universities tournament winning gold, silver and bronze medals in all boat classifications.

Our success is a result of marrying passion and hard work with one goal in mind and heart. This unity is what make us strong, this unity is what make us AUC Crew.
