" I have been a rower 4 years now, and everyday I have to break new limits to prove myself in this demanding sport. Although it may seem tiresome and discouraging, it is exactly these attributes that drive me to excel each and everyday. Rowing has in fact become part of my identity, it has become my overwhelming passion. Rowing is about waking up in the cold, early morning on an empty stomach to endure the pain of training, which believe me isn't like training for any other sport. It is just a sport not for anyone. Not everyone can endure pure pain for 6 minutes in a race. Not everyone can row for 20+ miles a day. Not everyone can substitute social events and going out for training and sleeping early for more training. As rowers we break the limits of normal people. So if I were to be asked what is a Rowing crew? Simply we are a family of super humans."
