AUC Rowing Team Victorious in Regatta of the De Gasperi-Schuman Cup in Florence

The AUC Men’s Rowing team participated in the De Gasperi- Schuman Regatta in Florence, Italy from March 31 to April 6, 2016. They won first place in the 8+ race and second place in the sculling 4x race.

Taimur Cantoni represented AUC and Egypt at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, bringing home a gold medal after beating more than 70 top rowers from around the world in the junior men’s single competition.
The team’s participation was sponsored by Richard Cashin,AUC trustee and former US Olympic rower.
